SBI (State Bank of India) has shared a piece of essential information with its clients stating that lacking to adhering to the rule by 30 June will impact their banking activities.
SBI which is the largest bank in the country told all its clients to connect their PAN or Aadhaar card by June 30 to not face any problems in the future.
Everyone has to link their PAN or Aadhaar card, SBI has also emerged as a special alert particularly to its clients for a consistent banking service.
SBI said in a tweet that they advise their clients to connect their PAN card with the Aadhaar card to avoid inconvenience and enjoying a smooth banking service.
June 30, 2021, is the last date for linking PAN-Aadhaar, and not meeting this deadline may cause a late fee charge.
The earlier deadline for linking PAN-Aadhaar was March 31, 2021. The CBDT (Central Board of Direct Taxes) extends the deadline of three months till June 30, 2021.
PAN card users should also understand that in case, their PAN card will not be connected with the Aadhaar card till June 30, then it will be not working. They will also pay Rs. 1000 penalty. And, the government specified this particular amount which will not be exceeded.
